MSI Defense Solutions Honored with Prestigious 2025 James S. Cogswell Award by the DCSA

Cogswell Outstanding Industrial Security Achievement Award by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The award was formally presented on June 11th during the NCMS Annual Training Seminar.
The Cogswell Award is one of the most esteemed honors a cleared defense contractor can receive. Out of more than 13,000 cleared facilities nationwide, only a select few are recognized each year for their commitment to industrial security excellence. This award highlights companies that demonstrate a strong security program and a culture of proactive, sustained protection of national security information.

The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), a component of the U.S. Department of Defense, is responsible for providing security oversight for the nation’s cleared contractor community. The Cogswell Award, named after Air Force Col. James S. Cogswell, the first chief of industrial security within the Department of Defense, honors facilities that go above and beyond baseline requirements to ensure the safeguarding of classified information.
